Determine the demand for your Idea
Hello and welcome to the Success Club Podcast, my name is Kaz Johnson and I am your host today, this is episode 175 and today I am talking about Determine the demand for your Idea
This is no 3 of a series of posts that I am writing, and if you have not already done so, I would recommend reading from episode 173.
Today I am going to be talking about the 3 ways to test demand for your product
Before your build an online store, it is a good idea to test the demand for your ideas, and a great way to do that is to cover the basics.
Google’s Keyword Planner
First of all, let’s start with the trusty old Google keyword planner. Here you can check out the search volumes of the keyword terms that people are looking for.
If you know what people are looking for, then it’s a high indication that your product or services is in demand!
Another great tool again is from Google and that is Google Trends, and it can give you’re an insight or keyword searches. It is free to use and with this tool, you can get an insight into the history of keywords and search terms.
It’s very good for seeing what trends are rising or falling, especially and seasonal products or services.
Check out your competition
See what your competition is selling, not to copy them but to see if you can do it even better.
Check out their sites, look at their blogs, look at their products and services, do a deep review of them.
Another tip for finding out is not to ask your friends and family, they will only tell you what you want to hear, and its often not the truth and can be so unhelpful with you are looking at starting a business.
That’s it for this week, tell me in the comments if you are thinking or starting an online business, what do you need help with?
