6 tips for planning a successful online course
It is by far the best tip I can give you.

Is to understand how people learn and to implement training to cover the three main ways people learn, and that is visual, auditory and kinaesthetic.
So make sure that you have some kind of visual content, this could be a picture or diagram or better still, a video that explains or shows your learner what know transfer you want to implement. Auditory, this could be an audible file or video, and lastly, kinaesthetic, give the learner something to do that will help them to reinforce their learning. This could be an action point you give them or a downloadable file such as a workbook.

Is to create a beta course with a low-end price and to have a limited amount of learners on the course. This way you can tweak the course from the feedback you get from your learners and you will not get stressed out with things that don’t work too well. Once your learners have worked the beta course and you have fine-tuned it, you can then release it at a higher price knowing that your course is error-free too.
Moving onto tip no 5
And that is to create a minimum viable course that you write as your learners work through your course. You can write your course each week as you go along, again using the feedback from your learners.

Make sure you have a dedicated support system. Either a dedicated email address or a support desk, where you have frequently asked questions, plus a way your learners can ask questions to any of their issues they maybe facing, from not being able to log into their account, to access course content. It’s ok if things might not work as they expect if you can be there for them when things do go wrong and help them out.
