Your big goals
Hello and welcome to the Success Club Podcast, my name is Kaz Johnson and I am your host today, this is episode 165, and today I am talking about your big goals.
I am writing this blog post in December 2020, it has been a very topsy-turvey world for everyone, but I want you to think forward, forward to what your big goals are.
It’s time for you to completely overhaul your life, in every shape possible and make it a successful one.
Your big goals can be anything you want to have, mine is made up of my push goal of health, I am a diabetic and concentrate on eating a keto-based diet, I run four days and week and exercise for 3. I drink water, only have coffee in the morning. I make sure that I have an evening routine, like putting out my clothes, journal, and blood sugar monitor and place my phone in a cupboard away from my bed.
I also make sure that I get 4 weeks plus holidays per year so that I can rest and recharge, this is my big push goal because I know that if my health is in check then I can then focus on the other areas of my life feeling full of vitality.
Another goal area of my life is relationships, income, and things that I want.
I want to sit down and think about 10 goals, just 10 things that you really want to achieve in the future, don’t forget that without your health everything else will suffer, so maybe this too should be one of your big goals.
Where do you want to be with this? Is it to gain weight, to lose some weight, is it to get fitter or do you want to take up a new sport? For example, learn how to do Pilates or yoga?
But you need to write it down, take a pen and paper and I am going to give you some ideas.
• Learn to ride a bike
• Learn to swim
• Learn to run
• Learn to do Pilates
• Eat heather
• Lose some weight
• Gain some weight
• Income goal
• Buy a new course
• Complete a course
• Get a new job
• Get a promotion
• Work for yourself
• Quit your job
• Grow your social media following
• Write a blog
Whatever it is, it needs to be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timebound.
‘For example, I want to quit my job by 1st January 2022 as I have my full-time side job bringing in the same amount of income as my full-time job’
You can chunk them together if they are similar and then I want you to take a small step towards your goals, so this could be, get a domain name for my new website by December 20th, 2020.
Small steps will lead you to your big goal and if you write them down it is much more likely to happen.
